ABOUT DOREEN LAVENDER
We are all souls on a journey of discovery, sharing and receiving.
At a young age, Lavender had visions, feelings, and intuitive and prophetic “knowings.” Coming from a small town and a strong church background, she found herself alone with her spiritual gifts because there was no one to answer her questions. She kept all a secret, believing others wouldn’t understand or approve.
It wasn’t until Lavender had a reading at the age of 20 that she began to appreciate her astrology chart of strong psychic gifts, world travel, teacher and understanding past lives. With this newfound knowledge, she was at last able to open up and begin using her gifts, but on a limited basis because society at that time wasn’t open to a view of energy and spiritualism.
She still did not declare she was psychic or gifted, but continued to search for more confirmations of her abilities. Many teachers appeared, who shared information with her on tarot cards; astrology; automatic handwriting; channeling; pendulums; dream interpretations; meditations; past life regression; chakra balancing; numerology; and more. Lavender began to practice each modality and eventually gathered students, teaching them spiritual techniques, opening them up to their own gifts.
In 1997, she established her business, Lavender’s Essentials, Inc., with the intention of sharing direction/guidance as a Spiritual Counselor for those seeking answers about their past, present, and future. She authored the book, Stretching Beyond Life’s Boundaries, and recorded two CDs as part of her “Total Well Being” series, The Timing of One’s Destiny and The Evolution of One’s Spirit.
Lavender makes herself available for individual readings and appears as a guest speaker on various topics of spiritual energy. She believes that “No one has the right to judge another. We are all souls on a journey of discovery, sharing and receiving. One never knows the design of another soul’s path.” She knows there are no mistakes or coincidences; believing all is in divine perfect order.
